Will Hunt Motorsport

Will Hunt – a race winner in the Radical SR1 Cup – spent his childhood competing in local karting events but in 2017 graduated to cars with a test campaign in a BRDC Formula 4 single-seater.

Expert tuition from ex-Formula 1 test driver Adrian Quaife-Hobbs preceded a successful F4 track test at Circuito de Albacete in Spain, where he troubled the single-seater lap record, and then a full-season drive with Scorpio Motorsport in the 2018 Radical SR1 Cup.

The West Sussex racer, a prolific podium visitor, won the Radical SR1 ‘Rookie Cup’ as the third-place finisher in the 2018 standings and went on to achieve race wins and challenge for outright championship glory in 2021, ending the year with Vice Champion status despite leading the most laps and achieving more race wins that his opponents.

His successes led to selection for Motorsport UK’s ‘Squad’ and ‘Team UK Futures’ programmes, during which he benefited from exclusive industry insight, educational classes and tailored events run by expert Academy coaches.

At the same time, he qualified as an official Association of Racing Driver Schools (ARDS) Instructor, and there began his career as a professional coach, working with aspirants in the earliest stages of their car racing careers, including Radical SR1 Cup newcomers Darren and George Knutton.

This is complemented by Race Instructor roles with driving experience customers and corporate VIPs at the home of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, Silverstone, as well as Thruxton and with MotorSport Vision at his local circuit of Brands Hatch.

All the while, Will was studying to earn the newly-launched Motorsport UK Certificate in Coaching Motorsport, which he completed in 2023.

Since then, Will notably achieved a podium result on his Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie debut, ranking third in the #501 Adrenalin Motorsport BMW 330i he shared with fellow Motorsport UK Academy graduate Toby Goodman and Germany’s Klaus Fassbender, and he continues to compete in the series with the support of Hailsham-based automotive transmission parts distributors and Torque Converter remanufacturers, Sussex Autos.

Through his racing, Will has built lasting relationships with brands and companies that wish to put themselves in the fast lane and he has a desire to continue building his network by offering a wide array of high-value, tailorable marketing opportunities for all budgets and objectives.
